Although this review is somewhat belated, it is no less heartfelt and sincere. When my mother passed 8 months ago, it was rather sudden, though she had been a stroke survivor for many years. I called Thompson Rose Chapel, and Pastor Terry Higgs immediately assisted me with my mom's arrangements as I wanted a traditional funeral. On behalf of Thompson Rose Chapel, Pastor Terry led me through the entire process, seamlessly, and was willing to work with me reasonably on price. He was prompt and professional. He assisted and/or gave me guidance and recommendations concerning every detail, from the death certificate, to the floral arrangements to the cemetery. He was compassionate and made all necessary calls. In fact, all staff members at Thompson were kind, gracious and helpful. Further, my relatives who own a funeral home in another state flew in for Mom's Celebration of Life. They all were impressed with how beautiful and flawless my mother looked! I was very pleased with the service that I received and would highly recommend Thompson Rose Chapel for all final needs.

Thompson's staff was incredible. New ownership has certainly shown how much they care. The building is undergoing renovation and the staff there genuinely cares about the people they serve. So thankful for Ms. Patricia Jones, Ms. Sharon, Pastor Terry, and Corey for all that they do. God Bless you all. If you're looking for a funeral home that cares look no further!!! It's hard enough losing someone you love, they help make the grieving process, funeral planning process, and everything else in between so much easier.

My story with Thompson Rose Chapel did not start in the usual way with the passing of a loved one. When I contacted Terry Higgs at Thompson Rose Chapel and asked for his help, I had no idea exactly how helpful he would be. You see, after some research, I found that Thompson Rose Chapel had attended to my biological mother, who I was in search of. Terry could have just passed me on and basically said that’s not my job. Instead, he patiently listened and offered to be as supportive as he could in bridging the gap between me and a biological sibling. Which was a lot. Without going into to much detail. This has to be one of the most compassionate, kindest and understanding souls I have met….probably ever. He has made a huge difference in my life. So, if you are in a position and are searching for loving and understanding in a difficult time, personally, I would not hesitate to work with this business. My deepest gratitude🙏🏾
