TERRIBLE AND RUDE PLACE DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! They placed our passes loved one on a GURNEY in a dirty hospital gown and covered them with a disgusting blanket they didn’t care what they did to our loved one. They rushed all the family member telling us the service is only 30 minutes ANYWAYS rolling eyes, yelling at us, and closed doors in people face. Some of our family members were not feeling well and even passed out and the staff just stood there at the doors pushing people out and didn’t even bother to check if medical attention was needed.

My mother passed away suddenly on December 28, 2022. I had no idea where to begin. We were in shock. Miriam was an absolute blessing! She was patient with us. She helped us with everything. From pickup up my mothers body to helping us set up the service and everything in between. The fact that they only do one service at a time is the best. No need to worry about others coming in and out. Texas Funeral Home just focuses on you. A huge thanks Texas Funeral, especially to Miriam!!!

I had my fathers services here after he passed on Thanksgiving. When I first walked in I didn't have an appointment. Never planning a service before I didn't know I needed one. The lady who spoke nothing but Spanish was very rude and cold. But right away Bertha told us to come back in 2 hrs and she would help us. When I got back she did just that. I was very nervous and didn't know what I was doing. I didn't feel very comfortable at first with Texas funeral home. They didn't call me back when my fathers body was transported from another county to there funeral home. I had to call them myself. But Bertha apologized when I went to sign the final papers and she was so very helpful and kind that day which made me feel more comfortable with them. Mariam was so nice and so helpful with the obituary and any questions I had, which I had alot. She didn't get frustrated with me. She said any questions I had just to call. She was amazing. The day of the service Joel was there and the lady who spoke all Spanish. Man let me tell you Joel was an angel from God. He made sure to ask me if I was comfortable and if I approved of how my father looked and the chapel. He asked me multiple times if I was okay and if I needed anything just to call him over. He checked on me multiple times. He was so very good hearted. Towards the end He came to ask if I was ready and if I wanted to watch lower the coffin. He took his time to let me say goodbye while the lady who spoke Spanish was still very cold and rude and rushing me but Joel stepped in and I was so grateful for that. Before they lowered the coffin Joel asked if I wanted to say a prayer with the family. He asked the family to come up and hold hands and he prayed with us. He was so amazing. In all they did a wonderful job with getting my father prepared. I was very satisfied. I just wish the lady who spoke Spanish had more training in compassion. After the services the cremation of my father was very fast and I got his ashes within a few days. I was grateful. The day I picked them up another awesome man named Ambrose helped me to order an urn. He was such a sweetheart. And then 2 days later Miriam called for me to pick up the death certificates. I would definitely use Texas Funeral again. I'm so grateful for everything they did for my fathers services. Thank you so much Texas funeral home
