Peoples Funeral Home is creating more pain to a situation by preventing closure of my families loss and they don't even seem to care because all that they have provided are excuses. My mother passed away July 31. Was moved from the hospital to people's funeral home and transferred to Pittsburgh. The transfer was successful and smooth. The aftermath was not. The funeral home has said that the coroner, and the Dr. at my mom's treatment facility did not sign the death certificate so it could not be provided. I contacted the hospital to attempt to get more information. The hospital said the coroner and the Dr. signed off on the Death Certificate on Aug 8. A full 3 weeks prior and the funeral director Mr. Stewart needed to provide information that was received prior to my mom being transferred but never entered into the system. Now after another two weeks we still don't have the Death certificate and are getting the run around to this day. They were paid the day the invoice was completed and still have not provided a death certificate it's September now. It seems like they got their money and ran.

This Jimmy Stewart character has no customer service skills or empty for a loss love one. I don't know how they're able to be in business with this guy employed with them. Sadly, even there staff and other funeral homes agreed they know this man is a horrible human.

My mom passed, my parents have a burial plan and a preneed plan. Mr. David Jones and the staff assisting him did an excellent job preparing our mom! We were experiencing this close death for the first time and didn't know what to do or where to start. Mr. Jones was there and he never left our side. He assured us that everything would be done to my dad's and our expectations! Well, actually, our expectations were surpassed! We were so deeply saddened by my mom's passing and the painstaking responsibility of taking care of her needs at her death was unimaginable! We wanted her elegance, kindness and motherly ways to be captured and all of that was done! Thank you, Mr. David Jones and staff! We are forever grateful! Professionalism and perfection is what we received!
