From the moment we started planning my mother’s service until the moment the graveside service concluded, my experience with MWD Funeral Home was wonderful. Our funeral director, Jeremy Harris, was friendly, kind, warm, professional and accommodating. He walked us through the process and kept us informed every step of the way. Immediately after our initial meeting he began the process of making phone calls and planning the service. He was always up front about the costs and fees associated with the service and he did everything he could to fulfill my mother’s wishes. The service itself is exactly what my mother wanted. It took place on a Friday and her burial took place the following Monday. It was Jeremy who drove her to her final resting place in Alabama. It is clear that he is dedicated to his job and to the families that he helps through this process. I will recommend MWD to everyone in my area who needs their services. Funerals can be sad and difficult but in our case, the entire process was pleasant. That’s not a word one usually associates with funerals.

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy but Chad and his coworkers made everything seamless and helped us out in every way imaginable. There was never any pressure to buy this or that and he was professional, timely and extremely knowledgeable. I hope I don’t have to see them again soon for obvious reasons but when the time comes, he will be my first call.

I am from out of state. My brother passed away at the hospital nearby in Marietta. I had to choose a funeral home blindly. I saw that this location had a lot of great reviews. Everybody was right.
