I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the exceptional care shown to my beloved fur baby by Freddie at Henson Kitchen Funeral Home. He went above and Beyond to prepare ashes and paw prints, displaying a level of compassion and love that I will forever cherish. I highly recommend their services for loved ones and fur babies.

Just had to have my Fur baby sent to heaven in the last 3 days. I called Freddie at Henson kitchen funeral home. They were absolutely wonderful at Handling my Fur baby's cremation procedure. My experience with Henson & Kitchen Funeral Home was outstanding. This review is way overdue. My husband passed away in February but I haven't been able to write this until now. I had to come from Georgia to West Virginia to be with my husband in hospice care. From the moment the gentlemen from the funeral home arrived at the hospice facility to tweeking final arrangements, this business was caring, compassionate, and professional. My husband was a veteran and they provided a flag to cover him for a walk of honor from hospice to the funeral home. ♡ They later presented me with that flag, which was very meaningful. Two things I must mention are 1.) I discovered I had a dead car battery at my hotel, when I was leaving for my appointment with the funeral home. I knew no one in WV. When I called to let them know I would need to reschedule and the reason why, they graciously offered and sent an employee to come give me a jump, then follow me to their business, then jumped my car a second time so I could get down the street to an auto parts store. Wow! 2.) I originally paid to have my husband's ashes shipped to me back in GA. The funeral home made a special effort to have the cremation completed and his ashes available for me to take home with me. On top of that, they gave me a wooden locked box for his ashes in exchange for the money I originally paid for the shipping. At such a hectic and difficult time, I was so impressed with the business's honesty and attention to detail on my behalf. I can't recommend Henson & Kitchen enough! Thank you all so much.
