My experience with Funeraria Del Angel Montebello was deeply disappointing and marred by unprofessionalism during a time of great emotional sensitivity. The events surrounding my grandmother's funeral were marked by a series of mishaps that should never occur in such a solemn setting. Initially, only one female employee arrived to deliver my grandmother's casket to the church. Sadly, she was not dressed professionally, wearing black sneakers, leggings, and a black sweater with the funeral home logo. This lack of appropriate attire added to our dismay, although we understood this was likely due to oversight rather than intent. The real issues arose when this lonely employee, without any support, struggled to manage the delivery of the casket. As a result, my family and I were left waiting outside the church for an hour, unable to begin our private goodbyes before other guests arrived. The blame, however, did not lie solely with her; it was clear that managers and supervisors that had failed to adequately communicate and coordinate staffing for the event. When two managers eventually arrived, their lack of preparedness was evident as they fumbled to address the situation. Their inability to resolve the staffing issue led them to ask random pedestrians to assist in carrying my grandmother's casket into the church—a deeply distressing moment for us, as our religious beliefs prevented us from fulfilling this duty ourselves. The following day, during the burial at the cemetery, more employees arrived, dressed professionally this time. It was a stark contrast to the previous day, and while we appreciated the improvement, it only highlighted the inconsistency in service. After my grandmother was laid to rest, one manager approached my family and me to apologize for the misunderstandings and communication failures. While the apology was appreciated, it did little to alleviate the stress and disappointment we felt. There was no offer of compensation or refund for the hour lost due to their mishandling of the situation and the added stress it caused during an already difficult time. In conclusion, while Funeraria Del Angel Montebello eventually recognized their mistakes and apologized, the experience was deeply upsetting and fell far short of the respect and professionalism one expects in such circumstances. I would caution others considering their services to weigh these factors carefully and ensure clear communication and adequate staffing are guaranteed to avoid similar distressing experiences.

Funeraria del Angel Montebello went above and beyond when my husband passed away. 6/6/2024. All staff was very understanding and caring they made everything so perfect for my husband's viewing. He looked very good, excellent presentation the day of viewing..Brianna went above and beyond during a very difficult time for me. Everything was so beautiful. Thank you so much for everything. I highly recommend Funeraria Del Angel Montebello

FIRST TIME HERE A FRIEND OF OURS PASSED AWAY. AND HIS FAMILY HAD SERVICES HERE. VERY NICE SERVICES AND PASTER, MUSIC. EVERYTHING WAS REALLY NICE. THEY HAD 2 HANDICAP SPOTS AND A FEW REGULAR. PARKING LOT A LITTLE SMALL. BUT EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE AND STAFF WERE VERY N8CE AS WELL. ID HIGHLY RECCOMEND HAVING SERVICES HERE. VERY PLEASANT.
