I recently attended a funeral for my mother at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home. Unfortunately, the experience was not a positive one. The employees of the funeral home were quite unprofessional. They were rude and dismissive, talking about how overweight people died early and how they were going to start eating right and going to the gym. This behavior was completely unacceptable and disrespectful, especially since they were talking within earshot. When we expressed our displeasure with the services, the owner of the funeral home refused to write an apology letter. This was incredibly disappointing and a clear sign of disrespect. The employees also seemed to have a lack of respect for the deceased. There was a lack of empathy and understanding for the situation. They didn’t do anything to make us feel comfortable and at ease. Instead, they made us feel anxious and uncomfortable. The facilities of the funeral home were also not up to par. The overall atmosphere was quite depressing and not at all inviting. Overall, I would not recommend Chandler Memorial Funeral Home to anyone. The employees were unprofessional and disrespectful, the owner failed to apologize for our dissatisfaction, and the facilities were outdated and uninviting.
